Organizational structure

General Assembly (GA)

Every full member has one vote. (Meeting Once a year)

Management Board (MB)

Their activities include driving the Alliance, marketing, communications, and connecting the different Working Groups. Members of the Management Board are nominated by at least ten members of the Pleiades and elected by the General Assembly. (once a month)

Steering Group (SG)

The Steering Board (SB) consists of the chairs of all Working Group. The SB has responsibility for development of the content, providing directions to and coordinating work between different Working Groups, and for relations with external partners (partnerships, projects, associations, stakeholder groups and communities).

Working Groups (WG)

There are nineteen Working Groups (6 horizontal and 8 vertical groups) with a representative.

Secretariat

The Secretariat is supporting Management Board and Steering Board/Working Group operations, as well as supporting Management Board in performing day to day membership and financial management and providing operational support, organizing events and meetings of the association, assisting the Chair, the Secretary and the Treasurer in their tasks. The Secretariat is also performing all other tasks that do not require prior decision of the Management Board and within approved budget.

Pleiades is focused on Internet of Things technologies to introduce new business models, improve the delivery of services, increase efficiency in production, and to enhance wellbeing and integrated services, such as application-monitoring and activity-monitoring devices.
